Challenges: In 2019, Integrated Systems Group completed a project that showcased all of their strengths by assisting in the design and build of the Newport Replacement Hospital for Samaritan Health Services. This was a project where ISG worked directly with Samaritan Health Services and the Neenan Construction team to coordinate all low voltage scopes. The project consisted of a new hospital build and renovation of the old hospital and had a very aggressive construction schedule, which combined presented a multitude of construction challenges.
Solution: At the time of contract release, the project was moving very quickly from design to construction and all trades were coordinating daily to increase production and minimize delays. ISG’s scopes required extensive coordination with the electrical prime for rough-in detail and scheduling, coordination with other trades for access panel layout and placement in patient areas as well frequent coordination with the end users for system configurations.
ISG was the prime contractor for all of the following scopes of work:
- Voice/Data
- Nurse Call
- Tot Guard
- Hear Radio
- Overhead Paging
- CATV
- Access Control
- Intrusion
- Video Security
- Audio/Video/TV Systems
- Clock Systems
“Without a doubt we chose the correct partner when ISG was selected as our contractor”- Jon Conner, Director Plant Services for Samaritan Pacific Health Services
